Casting was much better on this trip, and I was excited that I could maneuver my loop to accommodate a three nymph rig. It was nice to get out in my home state of Colorado - still one of the most beautiful places on planet Earth! I got to see some fun chases on the streamer, always exciting. I also learned that my typical technique of holstering and then tapping the rod to release does NOT work with a multiple nymph rig in the wind! Not the most ideal way to close the trip, but a valuable lesson indeed.
