Another beautiful day on the bayou. If you get the opportunity to fish with Nicholas, take it. He's fun, knowledgeable, and if there's fish to find, he'll find them! That seemed to be the problem today. The water was a bit high and off color, so we didn't spot many fish. However, I did spot a drum (by myself!) at 12 o'clock at about 20 feet, cast to him, caught his eye and it was off. I had no idea those fish could run like that, and I have the burn mark on my finger to prove hit! Holy smokes, what a fun fight and a new species to at to the FLOG! Yay!
