Even with rain and a chill in the air, it was nice to be back floating in freshwater chasing trout. My new rod is absolutely amazing. It's fast action without being too stiff ("that's what she said…"), and the accuracy is fantastic. I'm casting 75% better, which is okay for knocking all the rust off! It was fantastic to play some very strong fish!
